I basically never launch ad hominem attacks, instead I always argue against the position you take. In most cases, those positions are incorrect, misleading or confused.
It is you who constantly hurl personal abuse - the very definition of ad hominem attacks.

1) you're completely incorrect about the US Patent Office with respect to 'ideas'. That caveat was clearly spelled out in the paragraph preceding the one you circled as an 'exhibit.' Go back to school and learn how to read.
2) I'm clearly not confused about US Patent Office policy with respect to 'ideas.' Your chronic lack of reading comprehension is the chronic source of your confusion. Your problem. Stop making it ours.
3) Every time you use 'misleading' is an ad hominem attack.
4) If I've made a technical mistake, just point it out. You don't have to continually imply that I had intention to sow misinformation.
5) Don't confuse self-defense with abuse. Be thankful for my light handling of these situations.
6) You have no educational foundation upon which to judge my positions, one way or another. You're conclusions about my positions smell of a pretender. You've yet to demonstrate any command of the most significant aspects of road vehicle aerodynamics.
7) If you don't like my responses then I recommend you learn something about aerodynamics or keep your mouth shut. Your ignorant commentary can be extremely difficult to stomach.
