That's been clearly ruled out. It does all the things that dark matter doesn't, and there's not enough of it to explain mechanics on a galactic scale.

hydrogen, OH radicals, ammonia, water, formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide, silicon monoxide, neutral hydrogen, H+ ions, helium, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, magnesium, silicon, sulfur, formic acid, methane, vinyl cyanide, ethylene glycol, acetic acid, ethyl alcohol, glycoaldehyde , C6H-, dust, amino acids, chiral molecules, .... 32- heavy molecules in all.
