A friend of mine has moved to Portugal IIRC in late 2017, then he went to Germany and finally settled in England. While in Portugal he used to see a lot of cars with 1.6L turbodiesels, he told me in Germany even a Skoda Octavia would be easier to find with a 2.0 TSI instead.
