So the second bumper but same mold...success. Decided to take another few days off work despite many complaints. May be done by friday I think. It's not super strong by itself but just fine once it's on and ok to sand down. I tried to sand off the car but it was so much easier to attach it first. It would not come off now without breaking...
The filler was gorilla glue plaster of paris. I don't believe it's been near france or a big monkey but it was cheap. I also figure interior wood filler is not for cars but I quite like it for just me. I used 1 ply of toilet roll and polyester to seal it
Then more sanding, filler, sanding, paint, sanding, paint, filler and more sanding after that. It's ready for tomorrow and more sanding. The idea was weight so try to keep as close to resin as possible. 2.2kg and no steel fasteners
