For those who have access, NETFLIX is currently showing the series, 'UNIVERSE' and also a program on dark matter.
They get into current astronomical observations, plus the theoretical astrophysics / numerical modelling which is attempting to stitch all physics into a unified theory, operating from galactic scale, down to the quantum level of 'WIMPS', ' AXIONS', and 'MACHOS.'
It's just the scientists presenting what they're up to and the implications of what they're finding.
Some worked twenty-years to get a single 'photograph.' Amazing perseverance!
