in my old car I used a GPS to replace my odometer and the GPS keeps track on moving and stopped time. I checked my fuel log and my average stopped time for a tank was 59mins. My old car idled around .3-.4 GPH my new car idles around .17 GPH unless the AC is on. If you know the light is long or the traffic isn't moving shut the car off.
