That depends where they are. However, it sure is hard to bend an axle so that it fits behind or inside suspension parts and it still be able to turn at the same time.

Pros and cons. Maybe there are too many cons, but only time will tell. I was watching a YouTube video the other day on why there have been hardly any diesel motorcycles. It's not that they couldn't work, there have been a few that have worked and got great fuel mileage and could run on just about any fuel (which was the goal).
