If I remember correctly a typical A/C clutch coil gives around 10 ohms of resistance. It it's blowing a 30 amp fuse right away then it's got to be less than 1 ohm.
I’m lazy so haven’t followed up, but as both the condenser (not the radiator!) fan and the clutch are both on the same circuit, I have to narrow it down to one. And I’m not that smart when it comes to electrical.
