Can't be that expensive since they are retrofitting them in Reno. They don't need to be aboveground except for the antenna module which is flush with the access cover. They talk over cell phone every so often. That was the limit of the techs knowledge. I have no realtime access to the data and none is planned. They suck for leak detection unless you wait a good long while for the units to tick over that 1/10th gallon. I miss my old one.
The water company says the majority of use here is watering the grass.
