The 747 nose section (the part lufthansa raises on their cargo hauler) could be transported by rail. Saw several greenies on a train going through Tehachapi which had many height/width restriction tunnels. Oddly 737 max are almost as big.

Burners transported a whole 747 front with landing gear on Nevada Highways, but there's few bridges and tunnels on the route.

Bunch in boneyards going for aluminum scrap prices, landing gear doubles the price.
