42 mpg in my 2000 Civic LX 5 speed
I drive with a light touch on the accelerator pedal and anticipate braking (or should I say coasting) well in advance. I tuned up the car after buying it, have the tires at 35 psi and so far have an overall 42 mpg. Mostly highway, some city and some AC (here in Arizona you need it). Very happy with the economy so far, hoping to do better.
