I was looking at another practical application for super volumetric efficiency. My riding lawn mower.
Using an on line calculator it looks like the intake runner is perfect size and length to capture the 4th harmonic pulse at its rated speed of 3,500rpm.
None of these on line calculators existed 20 years ago when I first published the super VE chart so it appears to work.
