Life doesn't exist without CO2. Plants nearly starved to death when PPM dropped to 180.
The rate of current change is stressful on organisms, to varying degrees; least of all to humans which readily adapt to changing environments.
All are ignorant, including the scientists. Some educated guesses about specific future conditions will be more accurate than others, but I will not exhibit false confidence about any of them.
1000 years ago, the compass was the new medieval invention. Who could have predicted what life would be like now? Likewise, I make no confident predictions about the next 1000 years.
