I don't know why it makes me lurk about attempting to fit a 7-cyl Rotec into a VW Gol or Saveiro...
But anyway, most likely a FWD radial into some Beetle-ish model wouldn't be so critical to overheating, as all the cylinders would be exposed in a more even way to the air flow.
