His 1934, DeSoto Airflow aerodynamic test mule sported a pure Kamm-back, in truncated form. With the suite of aero mods they used, this K- form Airflow came in at Cd 0.268, compared to Cd 0.51.
Adding the stinger dropped it down to Cd 0.244 ( SPIRIT with the mirrors deleted ).
