For those that like to DIY, you can also use the heavy duty rubber mudflaps that are used on Tractor Trailers. You can cut them to the exact height you need using the natural length of the mudflap. One mudflap should serve on complete side of our cars in two pieces, plus each one is around $2-$3 dollars.
Their heavy, so shipping may make them a bit expensive, but if you live in a large city there should be a truck stop or repair center that stocks them, they are required by DOT.
