The factory is in the next town over from me. I happened to drive by it last month and all the lights were blazing at 6pm, so they're doing something. Electrek reported that production started in September.

Our first consumer vehicles, the R1T and R1S, are our handshake with the world and the first step in building a relationship with our customers. In September, we delivered our first R1T.
