'Loud' is subjective. You have NVH from the chassis, motor noises and wind. Which is most important?
When I first got my Metro, the most noticeable noise was air seeping around the door window glass. Beetle owners routinely replace the weather seals, but I don't know what it take on a Metro.
A 1 liter 3-cylinder isn't going to shake the ground. I get some rattling from the tailpipe hanger. At freeway speeds, something in the back rattles a lot, but I can't crawl back there to see what it is.
