Commercial Heat pumps cost 2-4x more than plain AC because “ reasons “

Might be still a fragmented niche category because things for houses can be a ripoff sold in small volumes

If everything was always a heat pump might get to that 10% point but as I stated almost everything is much larger for a given power heat pump , even pressure ratings seem to be higher

Which is why I ask, what do I loose if I do none of that?

AKA Folks insocal running the heat at 60f don’t need a very powerful heat pump.
How wimpy is it ? Never have gotten an answer to that if we literally just run AC components in reverse with proper valving
