As a generality, an EV charged mostly at home will cost much less per mile in "fuel" than a gasoline counterpart.

Is that 2 cents per mile with the reduced cost of your solar factored in or just a really high miles / kWh?
My Spark EV averaged 4.4 miles / kWh. At $0.135 per kWh that is 3 cents per mile paying for the electricity. The Bolt is averaging 3.6 miles / kWh = 3.8 cents per kWh. Those don't included charging losses so that adds about another 10% to the cost.
My Bolt is less than 2 cents per mile because about 1/2 my charging is done at work for free.
