That short trip distance isn't helping economy because it's not enough time to warm up. Get an EV and it will efficiently cover those short distances.

i got one of these hybrids the best i can do is 32mpg out of it on the highway aggressive hypermiling...and route specific
the only reason why my MPG went down was because the pump was overcharging me on fuel (the meter was running fast 2.2x vs ACTUAL amount pumped .) other wise i can get 23-26 around town..
I did a couple of tests confirming it was the issue
i switched to another pump mpg is back to normal 23-26 around town..with the same slope(the pump behind it) the same MPG my dad is getting in his corolla around town
