I was going to make that point, but freebeard nailed it. It's along the lines of the best part is no part (reduce), next best part would serve multiple functions (reuse). Recycling often requires the most energy expenditure. I have my doubts about paper products being worthwhile to recycle.
Outdoor people aren't entitled to others shelter whenever they want. If people would find it appalling if I occupied their tents whenever I wanted, then my point is made. There's plenty of outdoor wilderness space, but most choose the places that support their "freedom" and addiction.
The better solution would be to restrict those who are least capable of handling liberty, and unrestricting those most capable. Instead we do the exact opposite, where those most capable of responsibly wielding liberty have the most restriction, and the insane live without restriction. It's not rocket surgery, it's simply understanding human motivation and cause/effect relationships instead of "listening to your heart" which is always the dumbest thing to do.
