That’s right, the only thing ran by that secondary chain is the water pump. No longer need to time the balance shafts or anything.

I just used a metal pipe and hammer to shift the bearing that the back of the shaft rides on, to block oil flow, and the bushings at the front contain the oil flow that would be lubricating the front balance shaft bearing
