I am surprised to say that what I have done to the Sequoia is making a big difference so far. If my trip includes a lot of highway, then I can average 22-23 mpg! Since there is so much more I would like to do, I think I need to adjust my goal. I would like to be able to get 25-26 mpg highway once finishing what I have planned (minus the hybrid conversion).

In addition to what I already mentioned, I have planned to:

1. Go from 20" wheels down to 17". I can easily subtract 10 lbs from each wheel/tire combo by doing this. I may install disc covers if it is feasible.

2. Plexiglass fog light covers

3. I will get some body work done to fill in all holes on my roof from removing the roof rack. Right now I still have some brackets and bolts sticking out from my roof from the removal. I will also have the shop remove some of the badges.
