I don't have any idea how to hang drywall with studs 24" on-center.

I can only find one page telling me how to do this, but it claimed that you put a 4x7 grid of screws into a 4x8 sheet of drywall, but if you have studs 12" on-center you make a 4x9 grid, and a 4x5 grid for studs 24" on-center--except it says 15 screws, which would be a 3x5 grid.

However, it did recommend upgrading to 5/8" drywall.

Increase the weight and decrease the fasteners! Brilliant!

However, I should hold off on this.

I feel that I should buy a 48" straightedge and a non-serrated knife, 2" foam board from Home Depot, strap my board to one of those flatbed carts, start cutting 32"x9.5" blocks, and toss them through the window

I will slide 3 into each gap between joists, slide a 2x4 between the foam and the 4x4s, and then apply Great Stuff into all of the gaps.

That is going to require several cans!

Then once I have the floor insulated, I jack up the front, remove the extra cinder blocks, carefully lower it, and repeat with the back.

I keep thinking that I should really set the shed in its final position before installing drywall.

I just really want to install the drywall!
