Cx9 - '18 Mazda CX9 Grand Touring
90 day: 31.41 mpg (US)

Prius - '10 Toyota Prius III
90 day: 57.8 mpg (US)

Tundra - '00 Tundra V6 long bed base work truck

I have used various house brands and regretted it on every car I've owned for the long term. It is rare that 1 out of the 4 cheap tires doesn't end up with unusual wear, out of round vibrations, tread separations, etc. With my prius, I'd rather go to a junkyard and buy a set of used wheels with quality tires than a no-name set of new tires.

If you look at the installed cost of the tires and their rated tread life, you can see that even a little more expensive tire (up front) costs less in the long run. Here's a quick spreadsheet I made when looking at new economy cars with the standard vs upgraded/plus-sized wheels (which I was surprised didn't matter that much):
