I would have a very tall mountain to climb to get the structure of this construction method to work. I did buy a Saab 900 as a suspension donor, but that has been rusting in my yard for about 6 years. The battery channels in the bottom of the car would have to have metal liners to provide tension strength between the front and rear "subframes".

If I can verify what the Cd is, then there are better ways to construct it. I hope it is below 0.20 and it certainly could be lower than that. The Mercedes Bionic car and the Schlorwagen were two of the main influences. The center driver comes from the latter - and this is the way to gain the most use of the interior volume. And it protects the driver better in a crash; all else being equal.

The two things that are harder to see that are aero related - the underside rises up about 3-4 inches from the lowest point between the front wheels, and the rear track is 7" narrower than the front track. The area of the rear face is pretty small - maybe 55-65% of the frontal area.
