This would explain why the rear wheel covers feel more aero. It’s not just reducing wheel turbulence, separation and pressure and keeping attached air flow, it also reduced the wake size and increases wake pressure in the rear. So double wammy!
Also best height for front tire deflectors are 40mm

A 'best height' of 40mm may be limited exclusively to that particular test vehicle.
