fan static pressure

how much pressure needs to be maintained for the shape to stay relatively accurate?

i saw mentions of things like a shop vac or pump for inflating mattresses looks like air mattress pumps can produce like a half PSI of static, which is pretty good - if you have a valve thought you could pump it up and leave it instead of continually pumping assuming that a half PSI would be sufficient and you have no leakage.

just thinking out loud...
I can't give you a number, although the folks who manufacture inflatable advertising products like the 'hot air balloons ' and 'Gorillas' would know.
I used a Bosch 12-VDC electric blower fan from a wrecked, late model VW Westfalia Campmobile.

PS
my original proof of concept involved a discarded bean-bag chair.
I emptied out the Styro beads, cut off the blunt end of the envelope and tack- nailed the Naugahyde to a wooden frame which contained the blower fan. A simple umbilical cord ran from the tailgate, under the truck to the engine compartment, with spring-clips which just clamped onto the battery posts.
I invited Fembot-B over to the house to witness the re-invention.
She was NOT impressed! The look she gave me though was precious!
