Bubblers (like a bong) are used by the HHO crowd to prevent just such catastrophes.
ie: Unless the flame can teleport through water...
All that happens is the plastic press on lid gets blown off the bubbler and needs to be put back on.
Now imagine if you'd actually read the whole post where I mention bubblers towards the end..!
