The point being that global warming mostly increases the lowest temperatures compared with the top temperatures. In other words, the low average temp will increase more than the high average temp. That might imply a net energy savings, but it's against the religion to talk about anything that could potentially be good.

Looking at the forecast, this might be the last week AC will be needed here, and only a handful of hours in the evening. I've got the T-stat set to 78.

Managed to open windows and get the house down to 69 this morning, and as of noon, it's 71 inside. Probably won't need AC until 5pm.
