I recently listened to this debate.

The moderator bias seemed apparent, but within acceptable limits.

There's no easy way to describe to people how lowering fossil fuel plant utilization increases overall cost of electricity.

The most important questions which went unasked were;

a. If renewables are cheaper, why isn't the industry just adopting it?
b. If renewables are cheaper, why isn't there an inverse relationship between adoption and utility rates (cheaper bills with more renewables)?

It kinda doesn't matter whatsoever what some analyst says about the LCOE of renewables if reality disagrees.

It did confirm that I have an understanding of both sides of the debate to at least the level presented here.
