Yes GM made a GMT800 (mild hybrid)and GMT 900 with the 2mode hybrid option (2013 was the last year) They had 5.3L v8 and 6.0L v8(GMT900 series)
they got 20mpg in the city and 23 on the highway...

LOTS of power way more then the 4 banger with the turbo

379HP, 472 ft-lb(640 N⋅m) Torque... the battery imo is undersized the most I was able as to get was 8 miles on EV mode but that was a long downhill on a back road.. doing 29mph...

under normal conditions i'd be lucky to get a block or so
