You may recall the 'surfboard' fenders on the Trophenwagen or the Bureny streamliners. The only compund curves are on the fender tops [and cabin]. The glorified inner wheel wells are distinctly separated front and rear. The difusser is multiplane.
Having a jet engine doesn't hurt.
