You want something done right, you do it yourself.
When I considered moonlighting with Uber, I had my 2006 TSX inspected as required, which was like 6 years old at the time. The shop said my caliper was seizing and a few other things I don't remember.
I replaced the caliper (myself) like a dummy, and afterwards realized why they thought the caliper was bad. My parking brake sticks when it freezes because there is a hole in the brake line, which accumulates water and then doesn't release when it freezes. A couple of times I drove about a mile before realizing the issue.
No shop is adept enough to diagnose such an issue. It takes someone with a knowledge of the history to identify it.
My question is, did you buy from a stealership, or the owner? You can always get the history from the owner, or realize they are evasive and avoid them. Stealerships are launderers of vehicles. They claim ignorance of all things, yet charge a premium price. Why some people pay a premium for ignorance is beyond me.
BTW, is car #10 the ones you've owned, or includes all you've driven?
I drove 6 family cars/vans/motorcycles my dad owned before my first personal vehicle. Hmm, I might only be at 7 vehicles of personal ownership if that's the criteria.
