You might look into Anti Reversion ...er... doodats to ameliorate exhaust gas reversion on a std branch as a means of skipping the time and cost.
Also the Pressure Wave Termination which looks a lot like Anti Reversion after the optimal ...into 1 pipe length.
They look a lot like a large anti reversion doodat, but has the effect of 'fooling the branch in thinking it's exhausting into open air' and negating the unwanted effects of the mufflers.
