In the current market automakers cannot build cars fast enough. If a company is sending employees home that is a HUGE problem right now.
The core problem is they only made 41 vehicles last quarter. Stock price is irrelevant to manufacturing unless you are trying to stay afloat by selling stock to cover day to day expenses.
