Well I guess everyone has the same backup plan, sell the cattle.
We're all like cattle. That's why we all tend to move in the same direction at the same time even when it doesn't make sense. It explains bull and bear markets, cattle crisis, TP shortages...

That's part of the temptation to think that central planning is needed. If only there was a genius leader to force cattle ranchers to adequately plan contingencies...
