OK - although I Really wish there was a direct input from my computer, like every other site I use. The 1956 Jensen 541 has a wide oval air intake, with a shutter that rotates like a carburettor choke, along the long axis. It is manually controlled, and recommended for quick warm-ups, but probably gave better performance if partly closed at speed. Unfortunately, there were no diffusers and ducting to reduce turbulence, as needed for an ideal variable intake.
