Another 'fastback' BEV on the way. No info on aero yet.

Looking at the rear hatch, there's a cut line ahead of the trailing edge, as if it's defining the beginning of a pop-up rear spoiler.
One side-elevation photograph is taken far enough away, as to render close to 'true-length' dimensions, as in a blueprint. I'm going to print it, and do a contour comparison. A make-or-break for low Cd.
Honda's done really low drag in it's past, and it will be interesting to see how far their 'committee ' allowed the wind tunnel / CFD team to go.

I copied and enlarged the photo. Best I can tell, Honda used W. Hucho's 1978 basic half-body form. of Cd 0.15.
It's the same form Hyundai used for their Prophecy concept car, which their IONIQ 6 borrows heavily from.
I'm curious about the cut line on the rear hatch, and if it's a pop-up spoiler. It needs one.
As a pure electric, and comparing it to other Honda ICE and Hybrid body architectures, the Afeela might come in somewhere in the Cd 0.23- 0.21 range. I hope they publish the numbers at some point.
Without an accurate width for Afeela I cannot complete it's dimensional analysis.
