Cheap laminate does all that. Expensive laminate not so much particularly if they use proper glue. Having said that, I did dent my oak laminate flooring with a 12" crescent wrench I dropped.

Nice score on the flooring freebeard. Are you good using mush board underlayment instead of plywood? It's cheaper, water resistant.
