Back in the last Century, I traveled to computer trade shows in San Francisco*, Las Vegas and New Orleans. I could live for a day (and a half) on a mix of nuts and raisins I could carry in a pocket.
*I tried VR goggles there in the mid-1990s. Definitely not ready for prime time.
