The pedal part doesn’t matter too much when it comes to highway though. It’s probably due to battery and being lower I guess. Maybe they slightly improved engine efficiency but I doubt it since we are already near the limit in theory anyways
I’m waiting for Wayne at cleanmpg to do a steady state highway test drive with the Prius. Would be interesting. Usually Toyota under estimates their numbers and it’s higher in the real world. That’s how it even is with my exs Corolla hybrid. So far my Ioniq blue has the best highway steady state mpg of any car out there right now based on clean mpg testing
