My Ioniq doing it’s “ lean burn” thing. Only happens at high speeds. Drive between Colorado spring and Denver. 4 mpg cross wind. Corridor affect with slight slight down grade and smooth highway gives low engine load, so the engine charges the hybrid battery to the max and then it just starts cruising and locks into a certain mpg. It happens every now and then. But yeah, low drag and engine load at high speeds makes my car act different. Close to 60 mpg at 85 mph is pretty good with winter tires and 28 degrees outside I’d say…
