He's already got me several times before. Most memorable was his take on trans folk in sports, triggering my full disagreement on his take, then using that provocation to walk me through a discussion on fairness. He even told everyone he was setting the stage.
When he says something shocking like "stay away from black people", he's constructing a trap that is likely to force one to contend with the situation in which they find themselves. I voiced my disagreement on Youtube, but subsequent explanation has me in total agreement.
