Scott is often saying that you need to decide what you want, calculate the cost, and then pay it. He demonstrated that by trading his monetary empire for free speech. In my view, that was cheap, as the value of free speech is your very life. That's the conclusion of Braveheart, a sentiment most Americans used to aspire to. In our culture of Soy Boys, people don't value the freedom to think. Input the answers into our short attention spans so we can get on with gooning to something meaningless that occupies our attention until we die.
We have a fail culture, and that has to change.
