If you pay cash you aren't getting your money's worth!

There is a carwash in-town that offers a ten-cent discount for cash, although that has been a bit of a hassle, even when Accord money is burning a hole in my pocket.

Meanwhile, Walmart often charges more in-person, so you need to have orders shipped to your house to save money--or pay for the subscription service.

Let me enter into a long-term commitment with Walmart!

You already have access to the best credit union; Penfed. They have a 2% cash back card on all purchases.

The car wash discount isn't worth the hassle of slinging physical things around, plus it's less discount than the reward of a 2% cash back credit card if the wash costs more than five bucks.

Walmart cancelled itself in Portland recently, so everyone wins! PDXers think commerce is the devil. One day they might get to experience what it's like to live off of free range, organic, local only goods. That equates to more people living in tents on the sidewalk hoping someone will throw a McDouble their way as they pass through.
