Retired College Teacher ((Poli Sci and Math) and Telecom Regional Training Manager. Will be trying to buy a 2019 Chevy Volt Premier this summer. A 1,600 round-trip coming up in October from Southern California to West Texas and back. Otherwise mostly local/regional driving. But for trip want to get best mileage. Plan an overnight stop mid trip both ways and midday meals both ways. Will L2 charge at those opportunities and full charge on departure both ways.Hope to do some minor contributions to charging via off grid solar kit.
