Not having to maneuver as much as an ambulance trying to escape from traffic jams, with excessive braking and subsequent throttling, I guess for some emergencies it could actually be more efficient. On a sidenote, drones have already been used by drug dealers to deliver small amounts of weed in Rio de Janeiro, no joke.
