That is what Dave says about buying a car, but don't buy a tiny house because they don't appreciate like a full-sized one.

Well, If you can put $10,000 a year into savings while renting, why couldn't you build a $10,000 tiny house in a year and then add your $10,000 savings to what you would have paid in rent.

I don't have any idea how large a tiny house you can build for $10,000, but this couple built a 4x8 one for $1,800.

I absolutely would not recommend a 32-square-foot tiny house and I expected much more than this: However, why couldn't one build a tiny house, live in it while building successively larger tiny houses until you can afford a full-sized one?

They don't appreciate, but you are not paying rent, either.
